   Considering the popularity of smoking at the time Bewitched was in production, and the smoking habits of some of the principals, there was not much smoking on the show. There is roughly one smoking scene for every six episodes. A summary of the smoking events are as follows:

  Abner smokes a pipe in #s 6, 16, 21, 23, 24, 31, 37, 45, 47, 74, 83, 87, 137, 167, 184, 189, and 222.

  Samantha takes one puff of a cigarette in # 31. Note: This is the only time in the series that she is shown smoking.

  Endora smokes a hookah in #s 69, 71, and 154.

  Endora smokes a cigarette in # 3 (# 4 by the Screen Gems schedule).

  Dr. Bombay smokes a hookah in # 107.

  Darrin smokes a cigarette in #s 1, 17, 33, 46, 64, and 127.

  Darrin smokes a pipe and Serena puts out a cigarette in a sleek holder in # 54.

  Frank smokes a pipe in # 182.

  Larry smokes a cigarette in #s 21, 31, 35, 52, 66, 76, 86, 112, 139, and 153.

  Larry smokes a cigar in # 83,  107, and 122.

  Maurice smokes a cigar in # 175.

Serena smokes a cigarette in a holder in # 54.
